
TUSDigital Studio |
The studio was organized in June 2010. It consists of 55 students mainly in Department of Architecture, Tokyo University of Science. We have examined the effects and the possibilities of surface modelings, scripts and devices in digital domain as tools of design thinking under the direction of Daisuke Hirose, representative of Archicomplex. Our foresight is to develop architectural applications while sharing the technologies.Our main activity is the studio challenge and study session. We have optional activities, competition, expedition, and application development. |

Born in Nagasaki Prefecture in Japan 1974.After working at Kengo Kuma and Associates, he earned MS from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University in 2002 and established Archicomplex in 2005. He designed algorithmic tree at the exhibition “Kansei” in Musée des Arts décoratifs, Paris in 2008. He conducts lectures in many universities all over the world. |
